We are seeking a highly motivated Export Operations Specialist. This role supports global export operations by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across order management, documentation, and regulatory processes. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively manage day-to-day operations and partner interactions.

 

Position Description:

The Export Operations Specialist is responsible for processing sales orders, running reports, resolving exceptions, and managing export documentation to ensure compliance with trade, FDA, DEA, SOX, and GxP requirements. This individual will collaborate with internal teams and external affiliates to ensure seamless order fulfillment, timely communication, and accurate reporting. The role also supports process improvements, issue resolution, recalls, and system testing, while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Enter sales orders and manage order hold and error handling reports.
  • Fulfill affiliate requirements, including specific lot/dating requests, in compliance with SOPs, policies, and quality standards.
  • Provide accurate export documentation in advance of shipment arrivals to avoid customs delays.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to resolve import/export issues.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding order status, stock availability, and documentation requests, ensuring a closed-loop resolution process.
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with SOX, GxP, FDA, DEA, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Manage issue and dispute processes, including claims, return authorizations, and certificates of destruction using Export EGC systems.
  • Support recall activities and participate in system testing as required.
  • Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures in relevant Document Management Systems.
  • Complete compliance training within assigned deadlines.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Perform additional assignments and non-standard hours as needed to support global business requirements.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with IT experience
  • Available to work Full-time

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Professional communication skills across phone, email, and written correspondence.

  • Knowledge of export operations, trade compliance, and documentation processes preferred.

  • Experience working in regulated environments (FDA, DEA, SOX, GxP) desirable.

  • Ability to analyze data, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate records.

  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Job Type:

  • Full Time

Salary:

  • $28.00-$31.00/Hour (based on experience)
  • Plus Benefits after 90 days of FT

USD $28.00 - USD $31.00 /Hr.
