We’re seeking a results-driven Senior Data Analyst to support data management and strategic business initiatives. This role involves deep data analysis, dataset creation, and process improvement to enhance data quality and business decision-making. The ideal candidate is experienced with relational databases and comfortable working with business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend business solutions through research and analysis of data

  • Use creativity and process improvement skills to expand and improve existing processes.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis for projects and ongoing quality initiatives.

     

  • Create and manage datasets from various sources to support data governance.

     

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

     

  • Perform data mining to identify trends and improve data quality.

     

  • Develop reports with insights for business planning and decision-making.

     

  • Improve existing data processes and implement governance best practices.

     

  • Support implementation of data management and master/reference data tools.

     

  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project) and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, SAFe).

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related field.

    • 4+ years as a data analyst in data management/governance.

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Experience in supporting short, and long term, data management and strategic business activities through the analysis of data.

    • Ability to conduct in depth data analysis for projects as well as ongoing data quality initiatives

    • Experience in creating datasets from a variety of disparate sources to further data management initiatives and processes. 

    • Demonstrated ability in performing data mining on large datasets to supplement data management quality improvement initiatives.

    • Experience consulting with business stakeholders to document business requirements to support client needs.

    • Experience presenting reports with analysis and interpretation for business review and planning.

    • Demonstrated experience working with relational databases and database structures, with proficiency in SQL.

    • Experience with implementing Data Management lifecycle toolsets
    • Experience with implementing master data and/or reference data programs or toolsets
    • Practical experience working with multiple project management methodologies including at least one of the following: Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, SAFe
    • Experience working with project management organizational or visualization tools; examples could be Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, and statistical software such as SAS, SPSS or R

Pay Range

Up to USD $71.50/Hr.
